 Warranty Policy

·         At Comp-U-Build Computers, Inc., our computers are built with the highest quality parts to ensure the most dependable computer on the market. This allows us to sell our product with confidence that you will have a trouble-free computer system.

·         There are times when parts that make up the computer do fail. When this does happen it becomes our responsibility to make sure you, the customer, are taken care of in the most efficient manner. Our parts carry a 1 year to lifetime warranty to assure that we can take care of you beyond our warranty.

·         We offer a 1 year hassle free warranty program. If your computer fails to operate within the first year due to part failure we will replace the part free of charge. (This includes the labor performed at our site.) The work performed must be done at our Comp-U-Build Computers, Inc., storefront unless prior arrangements are made with a manger to have the problem performed at your location.

·         If your computer requires reload we will reload your system and drivers only. You will be responsible for all software and data reloads.

·         After one year, all parts fall under any manufacturer's warranty. (i.e. We install a Seagate  hard drive in a system built by us and 18 months later it fails to work. Seagate has a three year warranty plan, we will remove it and mail it into the manufacture for you and when replaced we will reinstall it for you. Your cost will be the shipping charges and labor for time only, not the part.)

·         During your one year warranty, Comp-U-Build Computers, Inc., will install any hardware that you may purchase for free, into the warranted computer at our location. This does not include software.

·         This warranty only covers computers built entirely by Comp-U-Build Computers, Inc., and does not include problems caused by improperly installed software, conflicts within software,  hardware installed outside Comp-U-Build, viruses & spyware, or  user error.  The user is responsible for all data and data backup.

• Items purchased off the shelves at Comp-U-Build Computers, Inc. maintain the manufactures warranty from the time of purchase. If the hardware purchased does not work out of the box we will exchange it for another copy of the same. We also offer a service that if you believe the product was bad but you are not sure, we will install it for you. If the product WAS bad and we had to replace it off the shelf with another unit we will finish the installation at no cost to you other than parts required. If the part was good and we finish the installation than you will pay the usual shop fee.
• There are no returns on opened software
• There are no returns on opened ink boxes. It is the customers responsibility to ensure they have the right ink BEFORE opening.
• All non-defective items must be brought back within 7 days from date of purchase in original resalable packaging. If the packaging is damaged a 25% restocking fee will apply.
• All defective items will be exchanged for like item
• No refunds after 7 days.
