There are many types of servicing that can be done on your computer either by you or by us. One of the first things you should do is to make sure the computer stays clean. Clogged air ports will cause your computer to overheat and shut down. Just blowing out the inside of the computers and all the fan ports will go a long way to keeping your computer running. This also means the inside of your computer where the CPU and power supply reside. This can be done with a can of compressed air. (Air from an air compressor contains moisture and it is not a good idea to use that for cleaning your computer unless you have a filter on it). If you are not comfortable with opening up your computer and cleaning it, be sure to bring it in to us once a year and we will gladly take care of that for you.
Another way to keep your computer running up to speed is to make sure all the add-ins on your internet explorer are removed along will all the toolbars. Uninstalling any unwanted programs especially those that run in the background.
